The Musiden technology was originally invented in the late 90′s by Christoph Dworzak in Biel, Switzerland. Few years later the technology was incubated within GPI, a Swiss incubator, in Zurich, and in January 2010 it was spun out as a separate company, to be based in Risch in the Canton of Zug. Gerhard is the founder of GP International, an IPR, technology investment and exploitation company. He is also the co-founder of WoodWelding, a company licensing medical technology. Before starting GPI and WoodWelding, he worked for seven years with The Generics Group, Cambridge, UK, as well as two years for Pugh Roberts Associates in Boston, MA (USA). He has a degree in automotive engineering, a doctorate in strategic technology management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and was a Fulbright Doctoral Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA (USA). He holds an Honorary Professorship from the Technical University of Munich (Germany).

For more than 15 Years Christoph was one of the partners of Creaholic, an innovation house, based in Biel, Switzerland. Creaholic is known for making innovations for Nespresso, Tetra Pak, Roche, BMW, Swisscom, Bosch, etc. Since 2007 Christoph has his own development company. He invented and developed products in very diverse industries for companies like Nespresso, Böhringer Ingelheim, Secheron, Network Automation, Tetra Pak, MCC (Smart Car), Stryker, REMP, Ronda etc. He has a degree in Microtechnics from HTA Biel, Switzerland.
